🚀 S&P 5000 !

Meta stock beat earnings , stock was up 20%

SPX aka the S&p500 hit 5000 ! The S&P 500 manage to close +1.41% this week with MSFT & NVDA hitting new highs…again!

The Canadian market was down with the TSX gaining -0.33%. Ill be honest Canadian stocks are moving like trash, and if anyone told you to go “all in Canadian stocks and avoid US stocks” please ignore them. However on the bright side Canadian stocks are just more sensitive to interest rate fears, they are amazing dividend payers and should bounce back when rates cut.

I feel like everyone makes investing complicated so let me simplify it ✨

If I was to start from scratch here’s how my portoflio would look;

✅ 2 ETFs (50%) $250 in $VFV or $VOO any S&P index $250 in $HXQ or $QQQ any Nasdaq index You can choose any ETFs you like $XEQT is also a good one

✅ 2 Dividend stocks (30%) $150 in $TD $150 in $ENB You can choose any dividend stock but stick to the bluechips

✅ 2 Growth stocks (20%) $100 in $AAPL $100 in $GOOGL You can choose any growth stocks like TSLA META AMZN NVDA ABNB This is just my opinion , there are many ways to invest but I feel like this would be a great portoflio with a mix of ETFs dividends and growth 💯
